Teresa,
Hi again well the family and I finally made it to washington and now are in the process of building our our 2112 Hiline home and wanted to ask you a few things about the process. #1 is where did you get the 4000 CFM fans to dry out your house prior to drywalling start? It says I am to supply 4 of them total some in crawlspace and some on main floor. We are currently living with in-laws at their delano address on the corner of 158th and Delano just down from you on Samford. If you wouldn't mind calling me 253-884-1976 that would be great. I think I saw Steve mowing out on the road near the Bay lake entrance sometime last month but didn't stop and ask, I drive a Blue RAM pickup with Alaska plates if you see me out at Bay Lake. Thanks for your podcasts on the building process they were interesting. Also if you want to share with me how your Hiline home fit your expectations on craftmansship and the whole process of dealing with their project manager that would be great.

Hey big Sis...glad to see you're still blogging. Cant wait to check out that place of yours.

By the way, I'm working on Veterans issues here on Capitol Hill. Tony tells me that you've been involved in that work for a while. I'd love to hear more about what you're doing.

Drop me a line when you get a moment...love ya!

the info about stainless steel refrigerators of a certain quality not being magnetic is new to me. i will certainly keep that in mind. that's a consideration for many of us who like posting reminders or pictures on our fridge doors, or simply love collecting cute magnets.

Hi Teresa I thought I'd stop back and see if you were still blogging about home improvement and your Hiline home building experience. Well I was just out there visiting Seattle/Lakebay on the 4th of July for 2 weeks and drove down by Bay Lake but couldn't remember which house was yours to stop and say hi. You might remember me as the guy who called and talked about Hiline homes since we are considereing them or Reality Homes. We had a great time at the in-laws over there on the corner of 158th and Delano. I did some brush hogging on our land near Minter Creek with the help of a guy on Herron Road who had a tractor and the mower attachment. Well it looks like one more year here in Missouri for me and then I'm punching the retirement button from the Air Force. Nice pictures of the Shop/Garage. I wish I had that kind of knowledge to help me when it comes to developing our lot. Just got an estimate for about $3K to grade and lay some rock on our driveway since it's a mess and the current neighbor doesn't put anything into the road except mowing the high center spot. Oh well. I see that the little mini farm down the road from you was taken off the market, she's asking way too much my in-law tells me for a triplewide home.
take care

It's true. I'm already looking at the way the sun hits other parts of the property to see if these would be good areas to grow vegetables as well.
